Is Samsung trying too hard for making flip phones a comeback? It seems so as Samsung creates history and launches world's first dual screen flip smartphone and India's most expensive phone, with a heavy price tag of price at Rs 51900 in black and gold colour option. Samsung now wants to start its own league of flip android smart phones. So now lets check out its specs and features !!
It offers the users dual sim support(GSM+CDMA) with 3.7inches dual screen of super AMOLED displays with 320*480 resolutions on both sides. Each display is on either side of the top part of the phone. The outer screen enables the users to make and receive calls, when the phone is flipped open it brings up the inner screen and a large 3*4 keypad with big and bold keys to help users operate the phone with greater ease. Since there is a display on the front of the phone, it can also be used when its closed and it can be flipped open and the other screen can be used with keyboard. The target is mid aged or older demographic segments. The bottom is home to a number pad and control pad.
Its powered by 1.7GHz dual core processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB.It runs on android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It has a 8MP rear camera with flash and 1.9MP front camera with 1820mAh battery measuring 118*59.5*15.8mm and weighs 179 grams.
It also combines innovative features as easy mode, hidden receiver, S health, business card recogition etc. The new feature called hidden receiver will enable users to receive calls without opening the fold, which ensures high quality voice clarity even in the middle of noises. The easy mode helps the user to view letters at a bigger font and display of bigger icons.
