The Chinese company Lenovo's flagship smart phone, the Lenovo Vibe Z(code name K910) was launched a while back. With external improvements in terms of design and built as also internal developments, is the vibe Z Lenovo's best offering till date? Here's the details~

2) Design, build and ergonomics-

Its curvy and has well rounded corners. It looks pitch black from the phone, with a chrome coloured chin, it adds an executive look to the device. Built-wise, its glass and plastic. It has a significant weight advantage and also good quality. The sides have a brushed look with metal buttons, the chrome coloured strip on the back and front is glossy. They look metallic but made of plastic. The texture is laser etched, the back has a smooth finish and better grip. Its very thin with 7.9mm thickness, curved sides, weight 145grams,and 5.5inch is a good phone which easily fits in the hand. Its neither too hefty nor too ominous for the hands. Lenovo has done a great job in making such a huge phone usable.

3) Hardware-

The front of the phone is of glass- Cornilla Gorilla Glass 3.Under the glass there's the display, above which is the speaker grill,5MP front facing camera, the usual couple of sensors and a notification LED hidden beneath the grille. Below the display there are 3 Lenovo style capacitive shortcut buttons for home, back and contextual menu, these light up when pressed. A primary microphone is between glass and button parts. A comfortable grip is due to laser etched fabric feel backcover. It weighs 147grams,5.5inch screen,3000mAh battery with 33 hours talk time. On the back is 13MP camera with Sony exmor RS sensor with dual LED flash, f/1.8aperture lens and supports 1080p full HD video recording. The loudspeaker grill is non removable which is on shiny metal surface on the back. The phone is 7.9mm thin and on the right side is the SIM card slot. On the top is the 3.5mm audio jack and the power button. Over at the bottom is the microUSB port in the metal rim of the phone. The left side there is the volume rocker made of metal.

4) Display-

The 5.5inch IPS LCD screen has a resolution of 1920*1080 with 400ppi pixel; density. It has brilliant colour reproduction, great contrast and excellent viewing angles. As the screen size is big its advantageous for consumption activities as gaming, movies, reading. There is a feature called the display colour balance control which helps to manipulate the colours on screen, thus best colours and hues can be extracted from the screen,

5) Camera-

It has a 13MP exmor  RS stacked CMOS sensor,f1.8 aperture lens module, which is the fastest lens on a smart phone, which will be able to capture exponentially more light.

6) Internals-

Its Lenovo's first phone to be powered by qualcomm snapdragon 800 chipset. The processor is 2.15 GHz quad core with Adreno 330 GPU for graphics thus making the phone perfect for most tasks.With 2GB of RAM,16GB internal storage multitasking and gaming is very easy.

7)Connectivity-

Its a LTE enabled smart phone, bluetooth 4.0.

8) Software-

It runs on android 4.3JellyBean,with company's own custom UI on top. Notable features include audio profiles, child mode, auto answer, shake to lock, wide touch, multi window feature etc. The battery life is also great.
