Introducing the newest member of the HTC family-the HTC Desire 816-the company's mid range phablet in India. It has an iconic design, applying exciting  colors and  and premium materials, thus giving the phone a distinctive flavor of its own. The phone brought pretty agreeable promises.
The most notable thing about the phone is its plastic glossy finish, sports a uni body form factor with rounded corner. The build quality is pretty good and exudes a premium feel.The colours in which the phone will be available are white, black, orange, dark blue, grey and green.
This is the ideal phone for photography lovers-whether you want to take the perfect selfie or capture a stunning view,it allows users to enhance their images and edit video clips before sharing them.It has a 5MP front facing camera and a 13MP rear facing camera with LED flash and video highlights.
The front of the phone is dominated by a generous 5.5inch super LCD 2 display with a resolution of 720*1280pixels.The text appears sharp and crisp, viewing angles are excellent and the colours appear vivid and allows to see more of personal, real time news stories, social updates and notifications at a glance on Blinkfeed, HTC's homescreen utility.Its for consumers who prefer large screen phones, but people with small fingers will also find the phone manageable.
The phone uses onscreen keys for navigation. The left edge of the phone has power/screen lock and volume rocker keys, right side has a plastic flap that hides two nano sim card slots and a micro SD card slot. One of sim card supports only CDMA and the other one supports only GSM(no support for 3G on second sim).The 3.5mm headset jack is at the top while the micro USB card is at the bottom.
It comes with android 4.4.2kitkat,the latest version of the OS with HTC Sense's 6.0 UI running on the top.The phone comes with new features as double to lock and unlock the phone and RAM 1.5GB, 1.6GHz quadcore qualcomm snapdragon 400.
